Description
Everyone quickly becomes familiar with the famous cannon that fires at every Aggie touchdown, named the Spirit of ’02. A special unit of the Corps maintains and operates the field artillery gun. Handled by the Artillery division of the Parson’s Mounted Cavalry, the restored 1902 cannon became an iconic piece in 1984. You may notice the cannon make an appearance at each Corps “March-in” and in several of the parades attended by its keepers.
This gunpowder scented candle is just as unique as the story of the cannon itself. Recall each Aggie touchdown with the smell of each fired round.
