Cadet Corps Store Improves Mission Statement
Our first season is now behind us and boy have we learned from it! With this next year ahead and plenty of ideas to keep us busy, there was one change we wanted to announce as soon as we were in agreement. The Cadet Corps Store team had decided that we needed to change our mission.
A flexible and important part of our core, the team agreed that our original mission did not clearly state our true pursuit. Previously, the store mission was: “To create memorable products that support the image of the Corps of Cadets”. We felt that this idea of supporting the image of the Corps was not something that could truly inspire. On top of that, we understood that it was hard for several of our supporters to connect with it.
Accordingly, the brainstorming began. Several ideas floated around and among them were many different words to express similar concepts–such as impact and community. After a few iterations, a consensus was made. The Cadet Corps Store is happy to announce our new mission:
“To create memorable products that build a community of supporters surrounding the Corps of Cadets”
Our team felt like this verbiage was something with which we could better connect. This concept of building a community that supports the Corps, was something we can work more and more towards with each interaction and memorable product crafted. We are excited to share this news with you! It is important to us that our supporters have an understanding of our direction as we move into the future. Here’s to development for this next year of business impact!
